2025 Intern - Victoria Prosser

Hello! My name is Victoria Prosser, and I am originally from Rockton, IL. I recently graduated from Northern Michigan University with a degree in Environmental Studies and Sustainability.

Going to college, I wasn't exactly sure of a career path, especially with an environmental degree, but presenting educational programs at a local children's museum and working at the Country Experience Farm Camp as an environmental outreach educator opened up possibilities and opportunities to combine my love for educating youth and sharing my passion for environmental studies.

Growing up, I had no experiences with environmental education, and outdoor extracurriculars were not accessible in our area. Now I firmly believe making outdoor environmental education accessible to all of today's youth is an important and worthwhile goal. Enter Clear Lake and my opportunity to learn more about the field and this Center by presenting programs to area youth.

I am excited to be working with Clear Lake's dedicated staff and to support the mission of connecting people to the natural world and fostering a lifelong appreciation for the environment.
