Needed Instructors, Lifeguard & High Ropes Instructor(Training Available)
We are looking for high energy individuals to join our Fall 2008 Staff. Applicants should have experience with kids K-12 in an outdoor setting, or strong desire to learn. Our Location is 24 Miles north of Manistique at the Clear Lake Education Center.
The curriculum ranges from ecology, forestry, orienteering, voyageur history(very theatrical), owls of the area, insects, archeology, astronomy, service learning activities, evening crafting, preserving our environment and team building. All classes are hands-on application based and align with the MI Standards.
Candidates must be willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions and be positive role models for students. The staff work and live in a close knit environment. All staff must complete background checks (paid for by the Center).
