The camp, built in the late 1930's by the CCC, blends a rustic feel with modern
conveniences. Clear Lake can accommodate up to 100 people. The eight
dormitory style cabins are nestled in a northern hardwoods forest adjacent to
Clear Lake. Each, with an accessible ramp and pathway, can bunk up to 12 people
(using both upper and lower bunks).
The modern, accessible restroom buildings house showers, toilets, and sinks -
with a laundry facility on the back of the men's restroom building.
The lodge includes a large meeting room and an office with local phone service
and wireless internet.
The dining hall has a large commercial kitchen, cooks quarters, and rustic dining
tables with long bench seats.
Please be mindful of the fact that your group is enjoying the National Forest and
use Leave No Trace practices.
**Smoking is not allowed in any of the buildings. If necessary, please smoke in
one area and dispose of waste properly.**
